Student should be regular and punctual in attending classes, tutorials, practical and submission of term assignments in different subjects. Students shall not be permitted to appear for the examination if conduct and attendance are not satisfactory.

To be eligible for the University Examinations, students must have a minimum of 75% attendance for each subject and 85% for each practical. In the case of absence, the insufficient hours should be made up as per the decision of Principal as well as the University rules.

All students must clear the 1st year exam in order to appear for the 2nd year exam; and the same for each further year. The academic performance of students is meticulously observed and evaluated by means of written tests, assignments, class presentations, and project works in class rooms and clinical area.

Internal assessment as per university rules, for each subject comprises of 25% of the total marks in theory and 50% of total marks in practical.

Minimum marks required to pass B.Sc. Nursing is 50% in individual main subject, 50% in oral and practical, 35% in individual subsidiary subject.

For distinction, the student needs to obtain 75% and above in every subject (s) and an aggregate (first attempt only) distinction, 60% & above is 1st Division, and 50% to 59.9% - 2nd Division
